Starting to think about Christmas gifts? Well..It’s the second day of Billy and the Balloons Book tour and we are honoured to have our turn to tell you all about this wonderful, Christmassy book by Elizabeth Dale (illustrated by Patrick Corrigan) . Over the next few days a collection of fantastic bloggers will be giving their opinions on the book (see schedule below) If you didn’t catch yesterday’s feature, head over to Library Girl and Book Boy to read what they thought about the book.

What did we like about it?
- Ideal Christmas Present – I always think that books make the most wonderful gifts, especially at Christmas. And Billy and the Balloons, by Elizabeth Dale, with characters that include Father Christmas and his Reindeers and a wonderful story of saving Christmas – is a perfect festive read.

- Gorgeous Illustrations – I adore the illustrations by Patrick Corrigan. They are bright, colourful and just absolutely gorgeous. Like art in themselves. They truly compliment the beautiful story.

- Fun and Exciting Story – The story is brilliant, so exciting, perfectly pitched at young children and (without spoiling it!) has a great ending!
