I love Alphabet workbooks for helping children to learn to form letters correctly. They often provide excellent guidance and are good fun.
But there are other ways of learning!
Here’s my 8 fun and Sensory ways to practise letter formation:
- Kinetic Sand- its no secret that I love Kinetic Sand (see my review here). It was only recently that I thought it would be brilliant for moulding and shaping letters
2. Lollipop Sticks! A quick and easy way of making letters with very little prep work.
3. Pipe Cleaners!
4. Duplo/Lego
5. Sequins and glue
6. Stickers
7. Pom Poms
8. Using home made pretend snow (click here to find out how to make!)
9. Play Foam, see our review here

Which are your favourite? What other ways have you tried? Comment below!

This is great and my daughter is now learning the alphabet, I’m now going to start doing some of these activities at home. The duplo one looks really simple. Thanks so much for linking up at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x
