For advent this year on The SEN Resources Blog, we are trying out and sharing a Children’s Christmas Activity every day! Have a look at our activities here. 

Today’s Christmas themed activity has been drawing and colouring Christmas themed pictures using the (magical!!) Colour Changer Pens by Nexus. 

The pot of felt tips consists of various different coloured pens and special white ‘colour changers’. When you draw over one of the colours with a colour changer pen…it changes colour before your eyes!! (Colouring has got ALOT more exciting in my house now!) 

We had great fun creating Christmas drawings and then changing their colours…

Writing and drawing over colourful  rainbow backgrounds and guessing and then seeing which colours turned to which colours… 

And we even used the Colour Changers to write a secret message on the plain paper that the children had to discover by colouring over it….
