It’s our second year of doing Elf on the Shelf and we’ve collated a list of simple ideas, that are suitable for young children
What’s Elf on The Shelf?
Elf on the Shelf is a lovely tradition whereby you have one (or more!) of Santa’s Scout Elves in your house from December 1st up until Christmas.
The Elves are said to be able to report back to Santa each night about how good children are behaving, helping Father Christmas know who to give presents to this Christmas. Each night they magically go back to the North Pole to have a chat with Santa and they return the next morning.
When they come back they are always in a new place and the idea is that children have to try and find them. Sometimes the elves can get up to mischief in the night and are found in funny places doing humourous things in the morning (Grown ups…this is where our list might come in helpful)
Where can I get an Elf?
Obviously the Elves come from The North Pole, but thankfully places like Amazon seem to help deliver them- have a look here*
