Number Bonds to 10 and 20, download my new Number Bonds Activity Pack

Number bonds to 10 and 20 are incredibly important. They are taught at the start of primary school in the UK and help children to develop important foundations for future maths concepts. (Skip to downloading my Activity Pack here)

Number bonds are simply, two numbers that add together to make a number. Therefore, when children are learning the number bonds to 10 they are expected to know the pairs of numbers that add up to make ten:

0+10= 10

1+9=10

2+8=10

3+7=10

4+6=10

5+5=10

6+ 4= 10

7+3= 10

8+2=10

9+1=10

10+0=10

And for number bonds to 20, they need to know the pairs of numbers that will make 20. Being able to recall these pairs easily/automatically will really help children with maths throughout primary and secondary school.

I’ve created a downloadable activity pack full of fun, play based activities that children can do to help develop their understanding of number bonds and learn to recall them. Download it on my Kofi Site here.
