We received our Autumn Craft Monthly Box today through the post and it couldn’t have come on a better day! Not only is it the penultimate day of #CraftWeek on our blog, but it was chucking it down with rain and we were running out of ideas of what to do!
This is the second box we’ve received from Craft Monthly (see last month’s review here). We loved the box last month but I think it’s safe to say we enjoyed it even more this month!
What did we like about it?
- Great Quality Products: We adored the contents of this month’s box. Great choice and all good quality. Have a look:
- Inspired Us To Try Something new! Inside the box this month was a scarf with fabric paints and a mask painting kit. We had so much fun painting the mask and scarf. What we loved was it inspired us to try something new! I’ve never fabric painted a scarf before and wouldn’t have thought to do it with the kids and they enjoyed it so much. They were also very proud of their finished products- as were we! Fantastic activities for building children’s confidence and a love for crafts.
- Themed– With the Scarf for the cooler weather and the mask as a potential Halloween activity, it’s great that the box is themed on the month.
- Special Gift– The gift included this month is a beautiful book. As we know I’m a big fan of children’s books and the importance of reading. So I was very impressed that the choice of gift promotes early literacy.
