We’ve been reading 13th Reality: Journal of Curious Letters the first in the series: 13th Reality by James Dashner.

What did we like about it? 

• Exhilarating story- with its 12 riddles to solve and collection of weird and wonderful characters, children will be transfixed and keen to discover more. Before you know it you’ve run out of pages and are eager to get your hands on the next book in the series!
• Promotes Friendships– we particularly liked how this books demonstrates the importance of friends and of having a close relationship with your parents.
• Encourages a love of Science- Science is all about inquiring and questioning the world around you, this book certainly gets kids thinking about scientific possibilities.
