We’ve been making our own Minibeasts this week, with this very easy, quick and fun craft activity. 

What do you need? 

• Stones
• Paints



• Paintbrush
• Pipe cleaners



• Glue/tape 
• Googly eyes



• Scissors

How do you make them? 

1. Paint the stones.

2. Leave to dry then add the googly eyes 

3. Cut, tape or glue pipe cleaners underneath and bend to be the legs 

You can extend this activity getting children to create pretend habitats for their insects. Discussing where they might live, what they need to survive, what they eat etc.
