Home Learning Activity: Make a Post Box and write/draw some letters!

Here’s a really fun activity to do with the kids, that’s fantastic at encouraging children to pick up a pencil and have a go at some writing. It can also be differentiated for all different ages. Create the postbox together and then decide what type of post you are going to make to put in it. You could make postcards to colour in or write long letters to post- it’s up to you. This activity also provides children with the opportunity to practise reading, when they are pretending to be the person receiving the post and reading it.
